Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Energy Suspension Rear Axle Beam Bushing - 15.3118G by Andrew Frison

5 hours of fun later they are in the game! Buy a tool or craft one.

Excellent trailing arm silent blocks. I seem to have cured all of the instability I was having with the machine. Strong crosswinds at highway speeds used to push me everywhere. The rear tires also had excessive wear on the inside of the tires. This car has never been in an accident and the negative camber at the rear proved acceptable and consistent. In other words, the back bar should be fine. I replaced my factory oil filled 157k bushings with these. Handling is the difference between day and night with a minimal increase in nvh. I no longer drive on the freeway and think this kit will last the life of the car. Turning is much more predictable and the steering is more responsive. I chose to use a copper anti-seize compound instead of the included Pro 5 lube. In the past, the anti-seize with polyurethane bushings has always worked for me and kept the squeaking to a minimum/no squeaking for a great deal long time. Powerflex also uses copper grease for their polymer bushings. Unless you have a special tool to remove the factory bushings, you will have to spend a lot of time removing them. I used a crown, hacksaw, punch and hammer to pull out the factory ones. Installation is very simple and you will need a hammer at best. Be sure to lubricate absolutely every surface that will come into contact with polyurethane, including poly-poly contact. I was able to thread the screws through the first outer hole but couldn't thread them through the second inner hole due to their design. After a short pause, I realized that you need to load the beam with tires to line up the holes. Long story short, once the bolts go through the outer holes in the hub, use a jack on one of the tires OR slowly lower it back onto the pavement (with the tires installed) so you can get the bolts all the way to the other side can drive the bracket. Mount the nuts and tighten the screws, done. When tightening, make sure that the vehicle is loaded at the rear. And the last. Buy some point 4 brake fluid and bleed the brakes when done. You'll probably need to do this as I don't see how you could get this to work without disconnecting the rear brake lines.
