Easy installation! I used a ball joint press (C-clamp type) to insert the center bushing, but a regular clamp would work as well. So far that they are quiet and the ride has greatly improved. They came with lots of lube which was nice - definitely use it. In the past I've had great luck with the Energy bushings, they met my expectations.. (2000 VW Jetta TDI) BTW I removed the entire axle which wasn't too hard and in the long run removing/installing the bushings made it significant has relieved.

My mechanic installed these bushings on my 2000 Golf. He said these bushings are much easier to install than OEM liquid injected bushings and they reduce installation time and save me money in the long run. Their only downside is that they are very stiff, so prepare to have more rear axle feel. If you want to keep the factory ride smooth, they probably aren't for you. However my car still squeaks and makes noise so I didn't care and it feels and sounds a lot better than my old worn out…

Wow what an improvement over the old worn out oil filled bushings! As I drove down the road, I felt the rear end twitch. There was a loud knock when going over bumps in the rear right as there was no more oil in the bushing and it was just knocking on the body. now drives great without rear noise.
