The answer is simple: Yes! Here's what I did: I read the install guide to understand what I thought would be a big f'ing thing. This can be confusing because it never says "Set up for iPad," just "Phone and tablet." In the long run, however, setup couldn't be simpler! It's a Bluetooth setting, some will say it's wireless, but it has nothing to do with your ISP, just the connection between the iPad and the thermal printer, so don't get confused. 1) Open the printer door and slide it to the left (there is a small blue tab that you need to pull forward to release the latch. 2) Remove the insert that protects the printhead. This is a sample label only. 3) Adjust the two blue flaps on the back of the printer to expand and accept the 4 x 6 label. You will receive several of these as a gift from the seller to align the printhead etc. 4) Load the FBA Print App down from the App Store it only takes a second. 5) Make sure you have enabled iPad Bluetooth (in Settings). 6) Connect the thermal printer to a power source as shown in the instructions. Click the On switch. on the back of the printer. He will hum and make noise. don't notice The largest button on the top of the printer will blink. Don't pay attention. *NOTE: In my setup, I print directly from the app with a snapshot of the label, which was a PDF and converted to an image, so it's in my photos. 7) Open the top of the printer and insert the label into the hole on the back through the blue tabs and up to the edge of the hole on the front of the printer 8) Find a sample test label online to print out. I found https://fulfilledmerchant.com/need-a-sample-label-for-a-4x6-test-print/ to be the most helpful (download the sample label, save it as a PDF and take a screenshot so it now an image works.) 9) Open the image and rotate it right side up like you would print it, crop and save. 10) Tap on Bluetooth in your app. Select a printer that has been recognized as a thermal printer. Should show up on the printer as "Label_printer_XXXXXXX"11), the large polygonal button will flash. Hold for 3 seconds, then release. The printer sets the labels. Let him do his thing - it takes a second. 12) In the app, swipe left to select PICTURES > IMPORT PICTURE > ALBUM, then make your selection. 13) Select Print. I left the OEM settings alone and the printer worked fine. 14) Your label will be printed within a second. If not, repeat the steps and try again. That will work. I have not yet used the PDF file format to create UPS, FedEX or other marketplace labels, but I have printed 2 labels from USPS using the methods above. Works without problems and quickly. If I use it I will add notes. The good, the bad, and the ugly... if there is such a thing!
