Overall the packaging was nice and it was easy to put hands on the base. They added some free solder which is nice but it only comes in a small unmarked plastic tube, the fact that they didn't mark it at all makes it useless to me. I'm not even sure if it's electrical solder and I don't know what percentage of lead it contains, so I don't know how to hear it properly. But other than that, the product itself is mediocre. The arrows are strong, while not inspiring much confidence in longevity, the metal base is absolute rubbish. The "non-slip rubber feet" are incredibly loosely attached to the underside of the base, and when in place, they don't all align, causing the base to wobble back and forth at the slightest touch. It slides around easily and is barely heavier than hands. Adjusting anything requires you to push hard on the base until you're satisfied, which I don't think you experience with any other brand with a more massive base. I tried soldering some connections to the board but just the slightest touch, the thing starts moving and you end up with cold connections. Maybe you could get used to it, but in this price range you definitely make compromises. If you only use this thing occasionally or only a couple of times and then never then by all means buy it but make sure you walk on some kind of rubberized surface. Still, it won't be durable, but at least it won't slip. But if you want a good product, or work on a project dozens of times or for a long time, remember: NEVER REDUCE THE PRICE. My mistake was that I was looking for something permanent. and received an ill-conceived raid.
