I have to say thank you to everyone for the great reviews as this is how I managed to get the right size for me (I'm usually a 9) especially as my ballet teacher told me that the shoes are usually two sizes too small. So a size 9.5 is perfect for my size 9 foot. Luckily, although not shown sewn on, the straps were already sewn on. I didn't expect to have to do this small task alone. I did ballet (first time in my life) without shoes so it was such a nice change after getting them! My feet moved so smoothly across the floor and my form improved with many steps and movements. My teacher told me to string my shoes (that loop is dirty in there!) but that really bothered me. leg so this whole rope is pressed against me. Excellent shoes that I have chosen very carefully and will definitely choose again.
