Great ballerinas

Great ballerinas. I don't know why the elastic is not sewn on in the photo. The rubber is already attached. My daughter really likes these shoes, they emphasize the arch of her foot and she is very comfortable in them. She can go to a master class for 3-4 hours and they do not delay. The size is a bit confusing. We actually went to the Capezio store years ago to try on her very first pair and since then I've only gone up a half size for her as her foot grows. Her normal size is 5 and I should…

Non-authentic Capezio

This is not an authentic Capezio. The slipper in the photo, well worn, shows my daughter's usual capezios. She danced in them, so we ordered a new pair. Their capezios have always been made in the Dominican Republic and not in the Dominican Republic. We only buy Capezio or Bloch, neither. The Capezio has thin leather foot pads, unlined and made from cheap yellow foam. Capezio always has laces reinforced with a cross ❌ on the arch for stability, they have a simple single row of stitching. This…

Lovely clogs but small and tight

These were decent clogs which I wore for about a month before reverting to pointe shoes after a fairly long absence from dancing. I just thought this was a quick transitional shoe. They're a bit narrow, but then again, I have narrow feet, so I'm not really complaining about that aspect. But be sure to buy one size larger as they run small. I would say that they are more suitable as children's shoes since the materials are not for those who will dance very often. Capezio is a good brand and the…

cheap production and small sizes

I usually wear shoes in size 8 or 8.5. I have 9 and they were too small. So sent back and got 9.5. They're still pretty tight, but I think 10 might be too loose, so I'll leave them on and hope that wearing them will stretch them a bit. I wish the canvas was a bit thicker and the little foam pads in the shoes were nice, but they don't look like they're going to last long. I bought them because I will be taking an adult ballet class, I haven't danced in many years and needed ballerinas. I've…

Buy 1 Full Size Athletic

I usually wear US size 6.5W or 7M shoes. I bought them in 8W. At first I thought they were too big because I could put my toe in my heel. However, after jumping around a bit in class, your legs will begin to swell, and it's important to be able to fully straighten your toes. I'm confused as to why people buy these shoes very tight to try and stretch them. They seem to get a hole very quickly. When your feet sweat, they seem to adjust and cling to the arch. These are comfortable ballet flats…

NOT AUTHENTIC! DO NOT BUY!

DO NOT BUY! FAKE! Written and shown to be genuine Capezio Juliet Flats. YOU ARE NOT! They look like cheap. The inside is like cheap felt and the fit is terrible. You are too small. I had the exact same shoes but real ones and my size 6. They didn't even go over my toes. Also, apart from the fact that they aren't real Capezios, they fit and are cheaply made. Worse still, the buyer will pass them off as genuine. At least they should be honest. I am very disappointed and will not recommend anyone…

Great ballerinas for beginners!

I have to say thank you to everyone for the great reviews as this is how I managed to get the right size for me (I'm usually a 9) especially as my ballet teacher told me that the shoes are usually two sizes too small. So a size 9.5 is perfect for my size 9 foot. Luckily, although not shown sewn on, the straps were already sewn on. I didn't expect to have to do this small task alone. I did ballet (first time in my life) without shoes so it was such a nice change after getting them! My feet moved

Great for teachers!

These are by far my favorite flats! I teach 13 classes a week and take three or four classes a year. Juliette used to have embroidered elastics (as seen in Revane's photo), but in the last year or so they have been attached. The attached elastic fits my feet well, but I've heard other dancers with high arches have issues with their tight fit. I have a normal arch but the shape of this shoe makes my feet look way prettier than they really are! The tip is incredibly long - maybe twice as long as…
