Last year I bought a new dryer with a lint filter on the door instead of on top of the dryer. The retractable lint trap gets smaller and fills up with each cycle, and many times I've pulled it out with the lint obviously left behind. I know that one of the most common causes of house fires is your dryer (yes, google it), so the kind of lint I couldn't get to was very concerning. I first tried using a metal coat hanger and then I tried using a crevice tool on my vacuum cleaner. None of them seemed effective, and seeing this longer, flexible hose mount made me dizzy with excitement (because doesn't everyone like to obsess over dryer lint?). It didn't disappoint! Of course you have to hook up the Dyson vacuum properly first, but I was very happy with the attachment and was able to remove an alarming amount of lint from the dryer on the first use. Definitely recommended.
