We have been using these for a few months now and I have found them to clean very well. They also absorb water very well. Little problems. First is the smell when you first get them. When you open the package the smell is not strong, but when they get wet (not washed) they smell like cat pee. I ended up washing them twice in the washing machine and then drying them in the sun. And the scent is very mild. Also, white isn't white anymore since we've had her a few months now. It has a small stain on it. But others have kept their color well with no blemishes. These are my first bamboo kitchen towels so I'm not sure if the smell is common. But they are great for washing dishes and make the job easier. I'm actually happy with them.
