The housing looks good. Some of these reviewers even think it's leather. The review that says the handle doesn't fit is correct. Without a case, the camera feels better in the hand (top and bottom), but no protection either. Use a case, and if you are in a location where you shoot a lot (where you will be changing packs of film), remove the case before you start shooting. If you take pictures arbitrarily, leave the case on. I like it. i use this
