The housing looks good. Some of these reviewers even think it's leather. The review that says the handle doesn't fit is correct. Without a case, the camera feels better in the hand (top and bottom), but no protection either. Use a case, and if you are in a location where you shoot a lot (where you will be changing packs of film), remove the case before you start shooting. It's just super! It really seems to protect the camera from dust and fall damage. It has 2 small clips on the sides to open and close it and as it's plastic I'm wondering how long it will last. However, I don't think I'll ever take the case off. And the case is thick enough to give it some strength. I love it very much and I think it will hold up well! I haven't dropped it or anything to know if it scratches, but after a week of use it seems scratch resistant.

Pros: Leather and stitching look and feel good. Sits well, looks good. Cons: The quality of the strap is an issue. Apart from the leather part, the fabric part looks flimsy.
