I bought it for my husband's computer. He has a computer that is not large in volume. So instead of giving him a speaker that I already have, I bought him this one. It seems spot on, I can still sleep in the middle of the night. He loves watching videos on YouTube and that's good for that. He can put it on his tray with his computer and everything fits. With us they hold and all buttons work. It has a nice look for the price. I like that they only use USB for power and don't need another outlet. They are very portable and you will buy another one for backup or for another computer. If you're looking for cheap speakers that aren't very loud but sound OK, not great, try this one. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to crank up the volume and not rock the house.
