This review is very similar to my review of another tool from the same company. This USA-made tool bumps the price up a bit. I could buy a tool from one of their competitors that is assembled in the USA from premium materials and not entirely made in the USA... And that would be maybe five or six bucks cheaper, but I'm not particularly thrown. I don't mind paying to keep US workers whenever I can. So I understand the value isn't as good as other tools that might be just as good tools, but I still pay the premium because it was a choice. In this case I took off a star because I was expecting the tool to have slightly heavier handles and when I received it I was a little surprised that the tool was American made that it was practically the same as the tool the competition is, and it really wasn't harder. If it were a blind comparison I don't know if I could tell them apart. Duty. If it were a blind comparison I don't know if I could tell them apart. As I use it a little more, I may find that the jaws are made of better material. And if so, that's all that matters because that's what she bought it for. I just haven't had the chance to do a huge amount of cuts with it yet.
