They fit me, but with some modifications. I used this to convert an old desktop to a SAN requiring 5 1/4 bays for hard drive storage. I had WD 3.5 10TB Enterprise drives, so I didn't need SSD attachment points. The slats that fall down to mount the SSD got in the way of my trays. Basically, each bracket took up 2 slots due to the perpendicular ribs for the SSD. I ended up breaking them and they kind of fit. They didn't include the nice thick paint they applied to the metal used, so it was an installation of sorts that convinced and pushed them to align and fit. The hard drives I bought didn't have center mounting points on the ends. For some reason this block only has one end and one middle for 3.5 drives, so I had to make do with one end attached and the other sitting on a bolt with a screw head to separate the lower drive board from the bracket . I probably won't buy it again unless I need to use it with an SSD and 3.5" drive with center mounting points so I can connect in 4 places; or each have 2 drive bays.
