Until now when I used it, air bubbles stuck to the indicator arm, I had to look for something to stick it on top to knock the bubbles out. The salinity label is a different color BUT my 50 year old eyes have a hard time telling the difference. I paid a few bucks more for an instant ocean hydrometer because it looks legible in the picture. I was wrong. If you look at the picture on Revain, there are bold red letters showing the salinity ranges of salt, mine isn't at all. I feel like I didn't really get what was advertised.
