If you like soldering or need a lot of soldering practice, this set is for you. After you practice soldering, you are left with a useless item that blinks or makes an annoying noise. What sets this kit apart from others is that you get a fully functional Bluetooth/TF/USB portable speaker system that actually works. That's cool. Here's what I liked about this DIY kit: 1) Lots of soldering practice. Almost everything in this kit is SMD (Surface Mount Device). So if you need that kind of exercise, the front of the scoreboard provides the task. 2) The seller includes an extra "Everything" which is a very small part. The kit comes with an extra LED or two of each colour, extra capacitors, extra screws/nuts - if it's small there's a good chance you'll lose it so it's good to have a spare to keep the kit up to complete. 3) Everything worked the first time which was very surprising as such detailed kits sometimes don't work at all due to manufacturer approval of build quality, parts etc somewhere down the production line but not with this kit. 4) High quality circuit board. Circuit board for mounting all components. USB flash works and is convenient, but you have a USB hard drive sticking out the side, which makes a TF card a good option so you can load music on it and pop it into the TF slot and your music collection be online and flush with the outside of the transparent case. 7) The assembly instructions are exceptionally clear and easy to follow. When the kit arrived it came with no instructions and my first thought was that things were going to go wrong. I have already received kits without instructions. I went back to the Revain listing and found the download manual button on the main page, clicked on it, downloaded the manual and found out why it wasn't included; The manual was long and full of details and pictures that it would be too voluminous to include in every set. Overall this is a very nice and fun DIY kit with lots of features and sound when complete.
