Go with the RE version. Slower speed but you can override it. I was pleasantly surprised that the disc wasn't overly compressed, you can actually list the length and size. The encoding time is pretty ridiculous, although the write speed isn't too unbearable. I put the first two seasons of The Office (NBC), the first season of Prison Break, and the first two seasons of Lost onto the same disc, leaving some free space. All are played very smoothly in the Sony AR190G. Overall pretty good for the memory size, but I'd really like 5 or 10 pixels, or ideally 25-100 spindles. Everything on time.
