4 days ago I rode 20 miles in my 30's. Halfway down I lost contact with my toes. It was "an eternity" before I came to my senses when I returned home. So I ordered these ankle boots to cover my shoes. Did the same 20 mile loop this morning in the same 30 degree weather. The boots were great. When I got home my toes were cold but I was comfortable for most of the trip. I thought it was a great success. As a certified "old man" I sometimes find it difficult to put on such accessories. I've fiddled with zippers, velcro, and elastics to the point of exhaustion. Fortunately, these are different. They fit easily over my mountain bike shoes and stay in place while riding. If I can just use them, then anyone can. At $20, that's a steal. Now I can handle whatever weather Mother Nature throws at me.
