Inexpensive and effective

I wasn't sure about the use case but after keeping my feet warm and dry on a muddy wet gravel field I was convinced. They fit snugly like insulation should. So please consider the size of the shoe when ordering, keep my shoes dry and prevent dirt and rain from getting into the shoes. The seam of the zip is taped and the Velcro runs under the boot. The toe and heel are held in place by straps that could have been thicker, but I haven't noticed any slippage. I'm glad I had them. Dry them, run…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Excessive price

Zipper broke after 4 weeks

Because of the price and thickness, I decided to give it a try. I really liked the fit and the warmth, but they don't last. I have used other branded shoe covers before and know I have to be careful with the zippers and straps to not pull too hard to damage/break them. I started using them at the end of December and they didn't last until the end of January. I've used them less than 10 times before one side fell apart during a trip. On closer inspection (as you can see on the pick), the lower…

Excellent protection from winter winds

I bought these for a winter fat bike. I find the boots big and chunky so I wanted to use my MTB boots with SPD cleats but they are obviously too lofty to ride in. I bought them to cover my shoes and keep warm. As you can imagine, the top is great, but the bottom lets really cold air through. BUT, when you pair these overlays with a pair of battery-powered socks, your feet will stay warm and hot even on a near-0 degree day. I'm hoping to use them for spring road cycling as well, but may have to…

Inexpensive alternative to frozen toes

4 days ago I rode 20 miles in my 30's. Halfway down I lost contact with my toes. It was "an eternity" before I came to my senses when I returned home. So I ordered these ankle boots to cover my shoes. Did the same 20 mile loop this morning in the same 30 degree weather. The boots were great. When I got home my toes were cold but I was comfortable for most of the trip. I thought it was a great success. As a certified "old man" I sometimes find it difficult to put on such accessories. I've…

Rotten product. Bad society.

First, the size chart may be accurate for small Asian feet, but certainly not for westerners. I'm a size 11 and although the ankle boots fit my leg, they were very tight at the ankles. And here lies the REAL problem. The zipper is NOT zippered at the bottom (unlike a zipper on jeans, for example) - so CONNECTING and then zipping is incredibly frustrating. For example, 5 minutes per foot is frustrating. And again because the upper is so tight around the ankles that you have to pull hard to close

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Crumpled

Warm but not very durable

I've been wearing these covers for 2 weeks now and do about 10-12 rides of 1-4 hours in them. On my first trip, the zipper at the bottom came undone. I had to stop unpacking completely and re-archive. Not a good start but it was easily fixed and never happened again. My biggest downside is that they don't seem to be very durable. After only 2 weeks there was already a hole in the fabric on one finger. On the other hand, they are easy to put on and take off and fit perfectly in my size 12 shoes.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Thin

Great value for money

I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews about exploding lightning bolts and such. Having ridden them about 200 miles in temperatures as high as 28 degrees Fahrenheit, I'd like to share my thoughts: First, let's talk about what they aren't: They're not top-of-the-line fashion overshoes. They cost $21. These are reasonably priced galoshes that will help you with the occasional outing in the area. When I realize that, I babysit her. I am very, very careful when putting them on and tying…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

  • Some minor issues

I love her. MUCH BETTER THAN SILICONE for regular use

I have purchased VeloToze XL. They arrived late and were in yellowed plastic packaging so maybe old stock, but the first time I put them on - BEWARE - they ripped anyway. I sent them back. A few weeks later I received another pair, the same with yellow packaging. This one didn't break, but when I got back from riding for the very first time, the front end broke from only maybe 50 feet of walking. sadness forever! After the second time, they were torn so badly that I could hardly put them on. I…
