I bought these for a winter fat bike. I find the boots big and chunky so I wanted to use my MTB boots with SPD cleats but they are obviously too lofty to ride in. 4 days ago I rode 20 miles in my 30's. Halfway down I lost contact with my toes. It was "an eternity" before I came to my senses when I returned home. First, the size chart may be accurate for small Asian feet, but certainly not for westerners. I'm a size 11 and although the ankle boots fit my leg, they were very tight at the ankles. And here lies the REAL problem. The zipper is NOT zippered at the bottom (unlike a zipper on jeans, for example) - so CONNECTING and then zipping is incredibly frustrating. I've been wearing these covers for 2 weeks now and do about 10-12 rides of 1-4 hours in them. On my first trip, the zipper at the bottom came undone. I had to stop unpacking completely and re-archive. Not a good start but it was easily fixed and never happened again. My biggest downside is that they don't seem to be very durable.
