I bought these for a winter fat bike. I find the boots big and chunky so I wanted to use my MTB boots with SPD cleats but they are obviously too lofty to ride in. I bought them to cover my shoes and keep warm. As you can imagine, the top is great, but the bottom lets really cold air through. BUT, when you pair these overlays with a pair of battery-powered socks, your feet will stay warm and hot even on a near-0 degree day. I'm hoping to use them for spring road cycling as well, but may have to buy another pair as the front cleats are already punctured. In any case, I highly recommend it.
