Totally satisfied with this monitor

I have had two of these monitors for almost two years now and they are the best monitors I have bought to date. I like ASUS products and ASUS motherboards are a big hit with their products. I started looking at 4k and even 2k monitors. Given that it's more for home use, it doesn't currently make sense to spend that much on a 4k monitor. While searching I came across this monitor and showed the utmost interest. It's 16 x 10, which wasn't huge to begin with, but if you dig deeper and measure it compared to another standard 1920 x 1080, it offered extra horizontal screen size. It is also the perfect size for the space used. The 27 inch screen was really too big for this particular application. It can accommodate two people. They rotate so you can orient landscape or portrait depending on your preference, or it's handy when adjusting/connecting cables. It also fits up and down. on a base forming the bottom of the screen itself, about 7 inches above the surface. it has 2 usb 3.0 ports on the left side. It comes with audio, displayport and HDMI cables. The screen is amazing in my opinion. There are virtually no frames around the top and sides. The bottom of the monitor is marked with a ruler. They are not actually used but may be of interest to some. As mentioned, this has been a great monitor so far. Turning it on is a little different from the experience as it doesn't appear to be 'instant'. It displays the ASUS logo for a few seconds before displaying the computer's desktop. I'm not a player so I can't speak about that aspect. All in all a great monitor at a great price if you want a little more screenscape and quality display.
