Ideal client monitor for commercial photography

Fantastic color accurate field monitor, ideal for professional photographers. I'm a professional photographer and digital pro and this was a great monitor for clients to see on location, as well as a great second monitor if you're just working remotely with your laptop. Great single cable solution if you are using USBC/Thunderbolt 3 or 4. The amazing color accuracy and 1080p resolution is actually a huge benefit in this area, putting a lot less strain on your laptop's GPU. This renders…

Super sharp and bright, fantastic for the price.

I have a number of them to play and work from home on A-list films as a visual effects artist. They don't have the color depth of much more expensive monitors, and I do notice some banding when looking at subtle monochrome gradations. I could have gotten better color for something more with a much lower refresh rate, but I wanted to play on the same monitors, so it was a great compromise (I couldn't up the resolution either, due to the VPN I'm on). . I've also settled on several comparable ASUS

    Very good! in my rating

A very good monitor for general use and work. I liked it so much that I immediately bought a second one. So many reasons to love it and only one small downside (see below). Pros: - Aspect ratio 16:10 (1920x1200). I prefer this aspect ratio because of the extra height. The best place for a 24-inch monitor is the solid build quality. Every detail from the base, screen, bezel and back panel seems well thought out and well made. The materials look and feel like a cut. - The base is very stable and…

    Totally satisfied with this monitor

I have had two of these monitors for almost two years now and they are the best monitors I have bought to date. I like ASUS products and ASUS motherboards are a big hit with their products. I started looking at 4k and even 2k monitors. Given that it's more for home use, it doesn't currently make sense to spend that much on a 4k monitor. While searching I came across this monitor and showed the utmost interest. It's 16 x 10, which wasn't huge to begin with, but if you dig deeper and measure it…

The only true. to my rating.

I generally hate setting up new electronic devices. Mainly because after I turned 65 my visual acuity and dexterity started to decline, not to mention a few other things, but that's for another day. However, this monitor was very easy to set up and was up and running in less than an hour. Any young rogue could probably do it in half the time. One of life's harsh realities. The ease of changing the screen position is a big plus. However, I chose this monitor for its compatibility and interface…

    Match well with M1 Macbook

Pairing with a Macbook is very easy: just a USB-C cable. It also charges the computer! Bought as a work monitor. I don't work in the creative field, but it's important to me to see fine print, sometimes in colour. The resolution isn't perfectly sharp for things like MacBook apps and the edges of browser windows, but photos, websites, and videos are very sharp. I think this is more of a Mac issue than a monitor issue. Even then, I didn't notice it from day one of use. tl;dr: From an uncreative…

Works with my Samsung Note 9

So I don't use it like most other users seem to do... but that's fine. I'm going to use it as an extra computer monitor with HDMI for art projects... but what I really wanted was another smaller monitor that I can connect to my old Samsung Note 9 with a USB-C connector cable. The direct conversation made me switch to a 5G phone, so it's my "phone" now. I live in a country with terrible internet and we won't be updating it any time soon (not our choice). Since I can no longer use this phone as a

It could just be my device, when I opened the box it smelled awful!

My left side is a $400 Alienware AW2521HF monitor. My right side is a $200 Asus PA248QV monitor. ^ When I received the monitor I was surprised that the box was much smaller than my Alienware box. Then I received my camera and unpacked it. Person. I don't know what happened, the smell I smell wasn't a factory smell, it was like a weird stench, even a day later it still smells bad. The rest of the monitor itself is normal. Also, when booting up, the monitor turns blue instead of black, which I…

Great display with below average hardware controls

Received my new Asus ProArt display today and am impressed with the picture quality. By default, when the display is set to landscape, some websites display a version of the website that is a mix of tablet and desktop views, which I wasn't expecting. The main point of criticism I still have to do is the hardware control via a rotary wheel and a button on the back of the display. The button (in the center of the dial) pops out with every touch, and the dial isn't very premium. You need to…

    Outstanding image quality

PROS: Image quality/color are both great for what I do. Since I'm not a gamer, I can't comment on that. The power and adjustment buttons are on the front near the bottom edge of the monitor, eliminating the need to fiddle with the side wondering if I'm pressing the right button. Pretty heavy base. Easily adjustable in height. Full screen usage, approx. 1/4" black bezel. FAST.CON: Printed user manual not included. Standard 6ft cable, wish it was longer. Viewing is good - you have to tilt the…

Great monitor for printing on Canon Pro 100 and older Macbook Pros

The color of the ASUS ProArt monitor matches the prints almost perfectly. Works with Macbook Pro High Sierra. I've always had i1Profiler for my monitors. I don't have a pressure calibration. I am a professional studio photographer with over 25 years of experience. I was a professional printer 25 years ago, so I can see that colors and differences bother me. Canon Pro 100 color matching was always disabled on other monitors including the Macbook Pro monitor. It was visible even to the untrained…

I'm a twitch streamer using a Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 49-inch ultra wide monitor as my primary monitor (partitioned with Windows Powertoys) and I was dying to have a secondary display connected to it that wasn't connected to the primary display Because the ultra wide monitor is so large it was difficult to fit another full size monitor on either side of the Neo G9 and I didn't want to fit the monitor above it so it was the perfect solution to fit it including DCI Color Accuracy -P3 is very good…

I wanted to write this and let everyone know that these monitors are really, really good. They come with all the necessary cables and are easy to set up. I bought them for a PhotoShop job I'm doing and wanted something with color calibrated color I'm sure. However, I was under the impression that the monitors come with software that allows you to recalibrate colors. They do NOT come with it. I attached it with velcro so it can be removed and removed if needed. The touch functions work great and allow me to use my computer without a mouse and keyboard. Exceptional monitor with the best resolution ratio and a great price

I am so impressed with this monitor - I even bought two. I find the 1920 x 1200 resolution best for desktops as it gives a little more vertical real estate for websites and the sharpness and clarity is perfect. Full 4K actually makes a lot of things too small, and many monitors now use a shorter height-to-width ratio, making it much less useful for real-world work. I didn't buy them to watch wide aspect ratio movies. It's very hard to find a good 1920x1200 monitor. They replace the Dell…

    No complaints at all

Not the best price in my opinion, but not a bad deal for this screen. The main reason I bought it was the touchscreen, which was practically the best deal in the price range, plus payments were available. I received it for use with a microcomputer as a portable device. It does exactly that. Of course it needs its own power supply, but I can work with it. If you have Dex on a Samsung device, it works like an external touchscreen, which is pretty cool. The video quality is excellent and the sound

Solid monitor for photo and video

I bought this 24" monitor because my old used tech just wasn't good for video and photo editing. It had pretty terrible colors, contrast, range, etc. This monitor is a massive improvement. When I tried it myself calibrate, I pretty much decided to go with the factory settings. I compared it to my laptop's sRGB OLED screen and they were almost identical (the laptop has a glossy finish versus a matte finish on this Asus.) A great all-rounder for gaming and multimedia creation.

Liked the feature set, especially for the price. Only KVM is missing. A remote control would be handy, and reaching across a table to change settings has never been ideal. However, this display is extremely versatile, it can play games and easily connect my MacBook or iPad for productivity purposes. There's not much to say about the built-in speakers, but they're there in a pinch. A few things this display doesn't do aren't a deal breaker to me.

This is a very good monitor, especially for the price. I've been a professional photographer for over fifty years, and while I'm not a professional, I sometimes shoot and edit on time, and stable color is a must. This ASUS monitor replaces the NEC 2490WUXi LCD monitor that I bought in May 2009 for $1095 which was a good price for a highly rated monitor. Unfortunately, after 11.5 years of use, the NEC was showing its age and I was starting to see inconsistencies on the screen. There was no…

Despite what another reviewer said, I was unable to get the USB-C port on this monitor to work with my Macbook Pro. It just said something like "USB-C signal not detected".
