Ideal client monitor for commercial photography

Fantastic color accurate field monitor, ideal for professional photographers. I'm a professional photographer and digital pro and this was a great monitor for clients to see on location, as well as a great second monitor if you're just working remotely with your laptop. Great single cable solution if you are using USBC/Thunderbolt 3 or 4. The amazing color accuracy and 1080p resolution is actually a huge benefit in this area, putting a lot less strain on your laptop's GPU. This renders thumbnails faster. One of my favorite features is the 1/4 20 jack on the bottom. Ideal for mounting on a tripod, light stand or magic hand. Only criticism is the lack of sun and glare protection, but you can make your own or buy one. However, since it has a really good matte screen, glare isn't a huge issue. It's really only the brightness in direct sunlight that you can still see, it would only be better with a sun visor. My only other complaint is that the touchscreen only works on PC. No touch support for Mac. I suspect this is mostly related to Apple and not Asus, but I'm not sure. It would be great to have touch support for the Mac, as well as a camera, but I suspect that's not possible. Which brings me to the last really interesting point: you can plug it directly into the camera's HDMI output to get a real-time image while you're capturing photos or video onto the card. And it works great with one exception. It only supports 8-bit HDMI, which means that if you're using it as a video monitor connected directly to a camera, you can't just record in 10-bit 8-bit, at least not with my cameras. That hurts. In summary, you won't find a field monitor with more accurate color reproduction and 1/4 20 thread at this price point. I have 3 Asus professional art monitors running my business. 4k 32", 2k 24", and now 1080p 14". I have 100% confidence in the color accuracy and brightness of these monitors and trust them every day.
