I only gave 3 stars instead of 2 because my daughter found the laces useful at school. However, both she and my husband hate shields and I bought them especially for her. Both have to wear masks for about 8 hours a day with a short break. I was hoping this would help get a little more airflow behind the masks and make them more comfortable. Unfortunately, they did exactly the opposite. They complained of sweating and moisture from their breath, which caused irritation.
