I put that they fit "smaller", mainly because the elasticized top of shoe was really hard to grip and pull on my feet. I had to order a shoe horn, and it still takes a bit of time and effort to get them on. I hoped that they would be super cushioned, and they are OK but not heavenly. They are fairly comfortable and attractive. They look nice once you get them on.I would not recommend them for anyone who has arthritis in their hands, or difficulty bending over for an extended time. These shoes do not just slip on.
