Only buy it if you really like the design as the molding doesn't meet the requirements.
I received this vase as a gift after wanting it for a very long time. I didn't know it was a matte finish, but it's now mentioned in the Q&A section. Unfortunately, the matte finish has an overall greyish tint, which is not visible in the retail photos. Also, as mentioned in another review, there is a poorly "healed" casting flaw on the back of the hand that should have been sanded and polished better. I think "Made in China" comes into play. I still enjoy the vase and will keep it but am very disappointed with the quality.
