Had to throw away my second generic Toshiba DVD player (I took it to Best Buy for free recycling) (both tend to freeze over time) Wanted to see what's on Revain along the way is available to another All-Regional Player. That's where this model (I thought it was modified) came from, and it reminded me that standard DVDs can be played on a Blu-ray Disc player, but not the other way around. I took a leap of faith and ordered the BP220 through a retailer on the Revain marketplace (as there were no reviews for this player it was a leap of faith indeed!). Received it on time, it was easy to connect to my Sony home theater system and the pictures were amazing. What "baffled" me a little was the fact that there was no manual or registration certificate in the box. Inside the box was a "simple menu" (large and multiple) but I want my instruction manual! I called LG customer service (maybe in Thailand?) and spoke to two different men (two days in a row) who both told me that they had tried three times (!) to email me the manual and mine to check inboxes. and junk mail because the guide was out! So I didn't get it. I went to the LG website and couldn't find the manual, but was later told that I entered the information on the website incorrectly. I printed it out and was very happy to receive it because everything you buy usually comes with a manual and it is recommended to read the manual before using the product! (This policy is a thorn in my side in that too many manufacturers assume that everyone has a computer and/or smartphone etc Carolla and my Camry is being repaired and the car didn't have a manual, I was told if I put my smartphone on put the code on the driver's window i can get the manual like that! no smartphone and i wonder if manufacturers are trying to save trees or are they just cheap?!?) never assume your customers have the latest electronic have toys! may void the limited warranty, etc.) THEN PROVIDE MANUALS! Documentation you can register online.) So, at the time of this writing and h I have owned this LG (Life's Good) BP220 Network Blu-Ray/DVD/Region-wide Player since May 18th when it was shipped I have no complaints and would definitely recommend him!
