OK, they're bright and easy to install, but they're very loud on FM. 10 by 9 at 144MHz and s7 at 50MHz. There is nothing on HF and UHF. After installing some MIX 31 toroids (15 in total with 3 to 6 turns) and soldering the filter bridge I was able to get them down to s6 144 and s5 at 50MHz. Still too much radio interference. The barn is 360 feet from my nearest VHF antenna and still high HF interference. This was carried out on a new solar system with the charging function on the controller and without direct management of the batteries. No difference. I even hooked one up directly to the battery with a 4" wire. and still getting massive radio frequencies on the 144 and 50MHz bands.
