Review on πŸ”₯ Ultimate Durability and Performance: Bell 27-Inch KEVLAR Road Bike Tire by Doug Hook

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cheap bike tire with some features

This tire comes folded in a box. This is not a folding tire, so the tires will deform. I put them in the sun and the bead straightened out, but the beads stayed scattered from each other. This made installation difficult. The tire contains Kevlar in the tread carcass. After assembly, the bead lay normally on the rim. This tire is rated for a maximum pressure of 90psi. I drove with that pressure and the tire felt dead, didn't accelerate well and didn't seem to hold speed well. Cornering grip was excellent. The big attraction of this tire is its price. Many cyclists easily lose sight of much of what I said above. I do not recommend this tire mainly because it is not very lively.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Repair
