Watch your neck! So far it has worked with every device we've tried it with. It's a bit short for my husband. He is taller and has a longer torso; but it still works better than without. He can move the device at an angle that is comfortable for him. He uses it with a large iPad with a flip case. There is no keyboard connected to it. He has poor eyesight and needs to have his iPad right in front of his face. That saves his neck. It adjusts easily and feels solid. There is nothing to tense, you move and stay. It would be perfect for him if he was 3-4 inches taller.
