I didn't buy the first one from Revain - I found it at a big store and bought it on impulse. It worked fine for a while, but then it stopped responding to the app. I tried resetting the Wi-Fi settings, but Vivitar's instructions to reset Wi-Fi while holding the power button didn't work - the device just turned off instead of going into reset mode. I bought it through Revain to replace my old one. It works as expected. The application is very easy to use, the setup is quite simple and the interface is very customizable. It's easy to set up an on/off schedule, label outlets according to what's plugged in, etc. I don't expect any nonsense from a device like this - just set it up and let it work. He's doing fine. I hope it lasts longer than the previous one.
