I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.
The plastic and rigidity of this box are noticeably superior to those of their Chinese counterparts. Having a flat box to put a puncher, drill, screwdriver, grinder, and jigsaw in is much more convenient than having to stack bags full of tools. I'm considering purchasing an additional one or two of them. Also, if I locate any files, drills, and dowels on sale, I can arrange them in compartments.
Pros
- A versatile container that can be slung over the shoulder or carried in a basket. A huge box can be constructed from multiple smaller ones. There is a mount for the Bosch system's little cells inside, but since they're so expensive (about $500 each), I've been keeping my compressor's hoses in a box instead.
Cons
- In spite of its thinness (1 mm), the plastic is very sturdy. Rigidity is provided by the box's many spatial ribs, but with a heavy load ("with a slide"), the box distorts and the red latches on the lid become difficult to close.
