Cool chairs. The optics are great, they are quite comfortable and the footrest is well placed. They were very easy to assemble alone, were heavy and felt solid. The legs have plastic tips, so if you have hardwood floors you'll need to add felt pads. There are three issues though: Some of the screws are uneven so they don't sit flush with the wood/hardware (this really worries me and I wouldn't have bought them if I'd seen this flaw in person first). The riveted metal circle/strip that fits the wood seat does not sit flush with the wood, so there are small gaps between it and the wood. That worries me a little. Also, one of the backrests of the chair is a little rougher than I'd like and clings to a lace-backed shirt I have. I'm worried about what she's going to do with a thin silk shirt. Overall I don't think they were worth the price but returning them and then looking for a replacement is something I don't want to waste time on.
