This was a replacement tray for me. The tray itself is a simple plastic rectangle about 4 inches deep. I wouldn't call it sturdy, but it's not flimsy at all either. The scoop and double bowls are smaller than average, but are also a good and inexpensive fallback option. By backup I mean when service workers come in and out of the house I can lock them in the bedroom with these things so they don't slip out the door. As you can see, the rug is not small. This is the best part of the set and would have been worth the price of the set alone. Beautiful design carpet, well made, study.
