I bought it as a present for my daughter. When she opened the package, she said it smelled awful. Washed with soap and water and left to dry. After a while, my granddaughter entered the room and started looking for where the cat had pooped. It turned out to be a tea towel. Even after washing with soap and water, it still smelled like kitty litter. I really wanted to love them but the smell is just unbearable and I don't feel comfortable wiping the dishes with something that smells like toilet. or counter.
