Review on TrustFire Handlebar Bycycle Computer Compatible by Tony Conlon

But nicely done. good for electronics and gadgets

First of all, this mount is beautifully made. The machining and engraving of the aluminum was smooth and free of burrs. The anodized finish and fit of the handlebars was impeccable. You don't even need to go to the toolbox to install; tools included. Now the sad part: I bought this to use my Garmin 520 on one of my other bikes. Unfortunately, the force (ie torque, and I'm talking foot-pounds here, not inch-pounds) required to attach the device to the mount is so great that you risk damaging your Garmin's case or its mounting flanges to damage. . Both will render your expensive computer unusable. I would suspect that something would wear enough over dozens of install/removal cycles to reduce the force required to install, but the risk of breakage remains until that happens. It's not worth saving a few bucks on an original Garmin mount. Thanks to the manufacturer for a nice look, but please work on the functionality.
