I love this coat. I bought this for my 3 year old son for the winter (in Michigan). I bought it specifically for the car (as it's quite flimsy) and technically kids shouldn't wear coats with a 5 point harness. car seat. I have it for getting in and out of for errands etc but not for playing outside. Seems really warm and better than without a coat! It doesn't have a hood, but I agree with that because it gets bulkier in the car seat. He only wears a hat. It is true to size.
