This spring is a direct replacement for the OEM springs in my Kenmore FGHD2433KF0 dishwasher. Installation is easy and can be completed in 5 minutes: 1. Turn off the power and add water to the dishwasher2. Pull out the dishwasher to access the sides3. Remove the existing spring from the pull cable and mark the hole it connects to4. Replace the spring, put away the dishwasher, and pretend to turn on the water and power you know you missed in step 1.
