If adapters were provided to fit different bike seats behind the saddle, that would be a possible 5. On my road bike there was at least 2 inches between the two rear straps and anything that might attach underneath the seat. My seat is probably on the larger side. I almost returned it but instead went to the local hardware store where I bought a pair of 2-3 inch long "quick links". They attached to hooks on the back of my bike's saddle and added a few inches to my reach. Attaching straps to them mostly solved the problem. The quick release buckles have some bulk in this configuration and appear to be pressed a little against the top of the bag, potentially limiting the amount it can store. But after installation, the bag looks very nice and does not bother. The navy blue goes well with the dark gray trim on my bike and helps disguise the bag a bit. The straps are made of genuine leather. The bag looks like a high quality fabric. The tan color of the strap, while attractive, can make it difficult to return an item if it doesn't fit you. I don't know about others, but the metal parts on the underside of my bike seat tend to pick up some grease and dirt. So it pays to be very careful when attaching it until you are sure it will work. As mentioned, mine was a bit limited initially due to installation issues. However, I corrected the earlier mistakes by loosening the back straps as much as possible and now the bag is almost fully loaded. At the moment it contains a couple of very small canisters of carbon dioxide (for inflating tires) as well as the requisite tire valve. And I can slide my iPhone 6 all the way into the case behind these little things. There isn't much room left on the iPhone, maybe for a bunch of keys or another small item. Pros: Very attractive looks, Great Velcro closure, Choice of colors, Durable, attractive material, Low profile that doesn't get in the way while cycling. • Three durable leather straps. Cons: May require additional mounting hardware (depending on bike), Relatively small storage space, Light colored straps are more likely to show grease/dirt they have come into contact with.
