A 2005 Cadillac deVille stalled at idle and had a noticeable lack of power during our last drive. No codes were given and the mechanic couldn't reproduce the problem a month before our trip. So far I have only exchanged the front coil pack, since the rear one is much more complicated. Replacing the front is very easy and completely solved the problem. I bought a 10mm flex head ratchet wrench to help with the back end when time permits. The coil pack looked the same as before, but I have no idea if it was original.
