Small Torque Screwdriver

could have been chosen Summary: I've had my eye on these electric screwdrivers for a while and when this new Worx came out I decided to pull the trigger. This is my first Worx tool. My power tools are primarily Milwaukee M12 and M18. Observations: The first mandatory feature was the power source, in this case a lithium-ion battery. I was a little disappointed to find that the cell size is only 1500mAh considering 18650 cells can go as high as 3500 and are typically 2600mAh. In this regard, the presence of USB-C allows for fast charging. I immediately took it out and started using it, the video test is done with a charge upon arrival, which is usually 30-50%, which is the best practice for long-term storage and delivery. The two LEDs on the front are a good thing and stay on for 10-12 seconds after the driver has stopped spinning. ). I used a 1/8" bit and for the first 2 holes I used my new Milwaukee Surge M12 to reset the bit as the screwdriver doesn't have a bit lock feature. On the 3rd hole I drilled it reversed. to see if it would come out, which it did, but slowly. This was an unofficial test, three different sized drywall screws (I think). The torque work is audible and the screwdriver stops. This screwdriver is good for both screws as well as for #6 screws in softer woods.Anything larger will likely need an impact wrench.Recommendations: Charge before first use.Lithium will last longer if stored at 30-50% which is easy to measure Charge indicator flashes at battery level while charging so I found I only had 1 charge bar left out of 3 at the end of the test Pros: Case on two levels, you can add extra flat items tuck stands underneath; charging via USB-C; a nice set of bits including PH0 indicating the size of the screw this screwdriver should work with; Uses standard 1/4" hex bits. Cons: Small 1500mAh lithium cell; lacks a lockout feature.
