Review on πŸ“€ Black LG BP220 2D Blu-Ray Player with Smart TV - Enhanced SEO by Tone Hatton

Great cheap Blu-ray player

Just set up and tested the player. Set up was easy after replacing the dead battery that was in the box. I don't have a Blu-ray disc to try yet, so I tried Prometheus and was very impressed with the converted image. I think you will get a lot for your money with this machine. I was disappointed that the user manual is only on CD, I don't know if that's the standard now or not. Personally I prefer a manual in paper form. Another thing is when I put the user manual CD in my computer nothing happened. I was able to see a list of 12 files, but I was never able to view a period of the user manual. I sent help to LG and they replied with an in app user guide that works for me. I was a little confused about the device's connection to the internet. I thought I was hoping there was more than one HDMI port on the back and that if there was another it would plug directly into my computer, but after reading the instructions you need to plug it into the router. Modems I guess. I'm not sure how often I plan to use smart apps, I need to do some more research, but so far they're pretty impressed. I can't wait to see the real blue ray movie. My only disappointment would be the connection for the BD aspect and the user manual is only on a CD and it doesn't work after a few tries when I plug it into my computer but it doesn't matter much. And a dead, rather cheap looking battery that came with the remote control. The delivery was also on time, it came as it should, very early. Update, over the weekend I first experienced the screen freezing and freezing when trying to watch Total Recall. I experienced 3 screen locks/freezes before quitting for the last 30 minutes. I then went to the LG website to see what I could find out about it and it said it might be because the Blu-ray DVD is scratched. I looked at my copy and it looked a little dirty and possibly scratched. I then cleaned the DVD but didn't want to try again a 4th time. I've watched quite a few movies so far and some of them were on Blu-ray with no freeze. It was the first time. If this continues to be a problem and the DVDs are not scratched or dirty and they continue to be, they will be returned or sold as is and I will purchase a Panasonic Blu-ray player.
