BEFORE you buy. Remove the standard silencer. It's loud and resonant. Just really bad. But you'll know what you're getting with this exhaust. Cleans the sound very well. Eliminates the nose and smooths everything perfectly. 2012 JKU Sahara. Fast delivery. Well packaged and instructions suck but it's not that bad to understand. Removal: Roll up, it gets really sticky. Spray the mess off all the hangers and screws. My screws are horribly rusted. They'll need a bolt breaker when they're bad, and a pry bar is a must for the rubber/metal band in the grommets. There is a BATTED WELD on the muffler clamp. beating or grinding. Much luck. Unscrew the 4 screws on the large protective plate and remove it. The resonator is not bad. I hit the muffler so hard I loosened it so I didn't even have to unscrew the clamp. Just dropped it Drop the front end to the ground and rotate it forward toward the front of the vehicle to remove. Used 15mm 16mm 18mm pry bar and clamp screwdriver cup bar for rusty screw. Maybe I forgot something. Just install. Follow the missing instructions. Note that you may need to drive the exhaust tip into the muffler before sliding it under the jeep. The OEM clamp mounts to the Y-tube/intermediate tube. And note that monster clip groves can be either large or small. Work front to back and tighten after everything is in place. Don't forget to reattach the skid plate. Sound: To me it's like a fancy muscle car. It doesn't load much at all, but it's noticeable. Worth the money for a reasonable grunt and getting rid of a rusty 2 year old muffler. Enjoy.
