Review on 🌙 Noctua NH-D14: Deluxe CPU Cooler with Dual NF-P14 PWM and NF-P12 PWM Fans (Brown) by Christian Poojary

First, my heatsink died while playing games. My computer has overheated and shut down. Pretty scary night. I read some reviews and ordered this Noctua radiator asap. Revain was on my doorstep 8 hours later! Absolutely insane. Thank you Revain for saving my day as I mainly use my computer for work related tasks and needed to get it up and running asap. This radiator really is a beast. I recommend anyone interested in buying one to measure their case first as this thing is about 1mm from the case door. It also fully covers the components on the motherboard. The performance is just fantastic. I reject water cooling in my PC because such radiators exist. It's cheaper and offers the same thermal solution without the risk. My processor idles at 21°C and doesn't go above 36°C under load. I think perfectly acceptable temperatures for my i5-4590. As far as noise goes, it's an air cooler. And if your fan curves are aggressive, perhaps because you live in a warm area, you'll hear it. It's not that bad compared to some others I've heard though. Luckily I live in a cooler state and my computer is in the basement, so my fan curves are very conservative and noise really isn't an issue for me. The installation was on par with everything else. They provide you with their own tools which are perfect. The included thermal paste is also quite good. It took me about 20 minutes to complete the entire project to replace my dead radiator. Some people are put off by the aesthetics of this cooler. Now RGB and black are trending. Sure it's not great, but I'd be WAY better than anything else that glows in the dark any day of the week because you can't beat the price-to-cool ratio and that's what matters to me. However, if you just need color customization or LEDs, you'll probably be looking for something else. In general you like this product. If it breaks tomorrow, and I assure you it won't, I'll be happy to buy another one.
