bear with me…. I promise I'll get to the review, but first you need to know the backstory. We have five separate 13” metal tent-style letters (not very wide) spelling "FUN” that we release around Christmas every year. Each letter is illuminated by two (2) AAA batteries with a very nimble switch. Between the switch and how narrow the letters were, it was quite an accomplishment to toggle them on and off throughout the day. Usually by the 3rd or 4th day we were done and they had to reset the holiday season. I stumbled across this while looking for something different and it became the coolest savior for our FUN sign right at the time we had refused to turn them on and off this holiday and weren't ready to ever to reattach. We used a long length of each extension and connected each of the five letters with a hub. We were able to hide the cables with artificial snow. We then connected the main plug to an Alexa-enabled smart switch, which plugged into the outlet we were using. on the ship. The smart switch turns on, the hub works, and ALL FIVE letters light up! No more struggling with the switch, no more falling letters because you accidentally pressed one or more, is the word correct? OK, how about now? Oh, is that 2nd R crooked? OK. how is it now? (That's why it became obsolete a few days after the holiday. With the batteries changed (10 actually) and after all the letters were installed and connected, a few words to Alexa and we were able to turn them on and off MULTIPLE TIMES a day! It was nice the to fully enjoy the decoration as it should have been!
