Very handy to only have one connection to a laptop. It can reliably support 4K HDMI + multiple USB device connections. A USB stick connected at the same time is slightly slower than a direct connection to a PC. The cable connecting to the PC should be longer. Anyway, it must be very close. The main problem is power consumption. When I used a 100W universal power supply, the network was unstable. When I upgraded to the original HP 65W, the network became stable, but the laptop warned me to plug in a larger PSU for full performance.
