I liked that they did an assessment of our environment to determine what we needed as well as giving us recommendations for future upgrades or replacements. They also had good knowledge about current trends with new technologies such as storage area networks (SAN). It was nice having someone who understood networking at this level come out once every several months during my tenure there to discuss these topics further. Sometimes it would be necessary to have more frequent visits because other members were not technical enough when compared to their peers from larger companies. They helped design our network infrastructure, which has allowed me to focus my time elsewhere without worrying too much about day to day support problems.
