Review on Merino Kids Winter Sleep Bag for Infants and Toddlers 0-2 Years by Brian Lee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love this sleeping bag for our kid's cold room in New Jersey - it helps him sleep through the night!

I recommend this for babies from 6 months old if you live in a cold climate or your baby's room is as drafty as ours. This is great for cold New Jersey winters and I think it helped our 18 month old sleep better that night. We started using him in November when he was 16 months old but I wish we had had him last winter. This one is too heavy for spring and summer, but for the summer I could use a normal Merino Kids sleeping bag. The material is really beautiful. My son doesn't overheat at all. My only complaint is that I wish there were zippers on both shoulders, but that doesn't matter. Compared to Halo sleeping bags, the cost seems much higher, but the quality of the material is several years higher than Halo. Polyester sleeping bags. Halo fleece pockets roll and tear even at the underarm seams. I've been using it for almost 2 months with no problems. Please note that you need to dry it so you can get 2 so you can wash one.

Pros
  • The world's first sleeping bag to meet the stringent British BSI safety standards for baby sleeping bags, and the only merino wool sleeping bag to be certified to this safety standard. The child has freedom of movement, but cannot slip under or wriggle out.
Cons
  • Quality
