This item is so badly designed that it cannot be used. The grater is wobbly and open at both ends, so the cheese lands anywhere but on your plate. There is a fairly large gap between the grating roller and the upper cheese holder, so at some point the cheese slices just slide out instead of being grated. The handle for turning the grater is so close to the handle to hold the product that it's impossible to hold and turn it at the same time without touching both hands - and again spilling cheese all over the plate. sometimes came out grey/brown, don't know how (washed before use). It's terribly annoying when the cheese is completely grated (more specifically, it's spit out all over your kitchen - to the dog's delight) as it's metal on metal and it literally grinds itself as there's nothing that would prevent, that the tip falls into the grater. So badly designed. Obviously never checked. I used to have multiple cheese graters as I am a heavy cheese grater and they all die after a few years. I loved this product as the handle and grater are one piece not two, usually all my previous graters broke there. But obviously this product just isn't functional. Back immediately.
