Review on Full Motion TV Wall Mount by Mount-It! - Center & Corner Installation, Tilt, Extend, Articulating TV Wall Bracket - Fits up to 65 Inch TVs - MI-346L by Kanika Costa

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It creaks a little when it's more than 4-6 inches from the wall, making it uncomfortable to fully extend and rotate the TV.

I got this for my 65" Samsung which weighs 68lbs without its own stand. I think the price was around 110 but I'm still suspicious but didn't want to triple the price for the incomparable just yet. The fittings were adequate but not too tight, the tightened screws went into the bolts with a socket wrench and actually I had to do two of these twice as the woman made me move them over a bolt after I did it the first time would have. Hanging the TV and attaching the locking screws to the bottom of the rail felt a bit ridiculous, but it worked as the weight is really on the top hangers. I adjusted the tilt before hanging the TV as the supplied small detachable box wrenches will not go through the holes when the TV is mounted to them unless the holes are aligned vertically. Otherwise, you need to use a small screwdriver to loosen or tighten them. So far I haven't had a single tilt. The articulating arm is single arm rather than dual arm like the nicer peerless in this size rating and I wouldn't stretch my TV out that far unless it's a momentary bang on a port on the back after which it's more as a squeak gets about 4-6 inches from the wall, so fully extending and rotating the TV is not at all convenient. I don't plan on moving the TV from its flat position much, but I do like the easier access to the inputs when needed. This mount is probably great for those 40-50 inch class sizes and I would say the 40-45 is the best place and moving is fine but a bit heavier and I want that sliding movement on a daily basis. I would go with a double hand. unrivaled mount and just a waste of money. If I take it off I won't use it again unless for a smaller TV. It was almost fully assembled so it was ready to go straight away and the vesa holes for my 65 were right on the last armhole so it was on the limit but it didn't compromise the security of the tv in any way. They included a small clip on the spirit level that came in very handy for getting the setting right. The level changes slightly from full against the wall to a straight body position, which is another reason I won't do a full stretch with my weight. Perhaps this could be mitigated with smaller weights, but for larger ones this is impractical.

Pros
  • Better materials than the competition. Aluminum alloys 110lbs strength/weight make this swivel mount one of the strongest on the market HDMI cables and INSTALLATION HARDWARE INCLUDES
Cons
  • Almost never
