    Mounting holes prevent studs from wide spacing

    The end holes on the bracket are exactly 16 inches apart. The house has studs that are slightly further apart (about 17.5 inches). I couldn't mount this on my wall without first attaching a large piece of wood to the back. This was a huge inconvenience that could have been avoided if this product had been made with extra holes to accommodate cheap builders with fewer bolts. The extra holes on the rear bracket only give the illusion of forbearance as they only work if your spikes are too close…

    Samsung 49 " TV Wall Mount 31.5 lbs - FAIL

    with professional hollow wall mounting anchors, the 75 Able to hold pounds per anchor I used 6 anchors total (2 in metal studs, 4 in drywall) I used a level to make sure the wall mount was square and also that the TV mount was square Everything looked great . However, after I mounted the 49" TV on the bracket, there was a slight tilt to the left and it would not fully close in the base without having to lift the TV. Upon rechecking the level with the TV on the Bracket the wall mount was ok but…

    It creaks a little when it's more than 4-6 inches from the wall, making it uncomfortable to fully extend and rotate the TV.

    I got this for my 65" Samsung which weighs 68lbs without its own stand. I think the price was around 110 but I'm still suspicious but didn't want to triple the price for the incomparable just yet. The fittings were adequate but not too tight, the tightened screws went into the bolts with a socket wrench and actually I had to do two of these twice as the woman made me move them over a bolt after I did it the first time would have.
